WhatsApp campaigns

Build a WhatsApp campaign with a clear audience and permission

A WhatsApp campaign should begin with recipients who expect your message. SSDATA provides a workspace for organizing selected contacts and preparing a campaign through your connected WhatsApp account. Business discovery and permission to send messages are separate steps.

Check the account and audience first

Your subscription must be active and the service agreement accepted before campaign features are available. SSDATA also requires a WhatsApp number that has been active for at least 30 days. Do not buy a new number just to immediately use it for bulk messaging.

Review the recipient list before composing. Remove people who have not agreed to receive your messages, contacts who asked you to stop, duplicates, and numbers that are no longer relevant to the purpose of the campaign.

Prepare a useful campaign

  • Connect your own WhatsApp account in your private workspace.
  • Select a reviewed group of recipients who have agreed to receive the message.
  • Write a clear introduction, explain why you are contacting them, and provide one useful next step.
  • Add a document or photo only when it helps; attachments are optional.
  • Review the campaign preview and declarations before starting the queued delivery.

Use a message that fits the relationship

For a customer who requested product updates, a simple message might be: “Hello, this is the team you asked for bicycle stock updates. Our new catalogue is ready. Would you like us to send it?” Only use this context if that request actually happened.

Keep the message relevant and make it easy for the recipient to decline further updates. Queue timing is managed by SSDATA; it is not a promise that WhatsApp will accept every message or leave a number unrestricted.

Read campaign reports correctly

A sent status describes a delivery-stage event recorded by the tool. It does not prove that the recipient read the message, is interested, or will purchase. Review uncertain and failed entries before deciding what to do next.

WhatsApp makes its own decisions about account restrictions. SSDATA cannot guarantee that a number will never be restricted. Keep your audience focused, follow the accepted terms, and download a campaign report when you need a separate record.

Questions before you start

Are photos or documents required?

No. Attachments are optional. A short, relevant text message may be enough for the conversation.

Does finding a business number provide consent for a campaign?

No. Obtain the recipient’s agreement separately before adding the contact to a WhatsApp campaign.

Put the workflow into practice.
